Disabling Google Chrome Sticky Print Settings

Google Chrome now offers a helpful feature called "Sticky print settings" that allows users to save their preferred print settings for future use. This feature is especially convenient for users who frequently print from their web browser and want to avoid the hassle of adjusting their print settings every time.

Once a user sets their desired print settings in Google Chrome, such as choosing a specific printer, paper size, orientation, and color options, they can now save these settings as their defaults. This means that the next time they print from Google Chrome, their preferred print settings will already be selected, saving them time and effort.

To use the Sticky print settings feature, users can follow these simple steps:
1. Open Google Chrome and navigate to the webpage they want to print.
2. Click on the three-dot menu icon in the top-right corner and select "Print" from the dropdown menu.
3. In the print preview window, adjust the print settings according to their preferences.
4. Once the settings are configured, click on the "More settings" dropdown menu (denoted by three vertical dots) and select "Save as PDF."
5. A dialog box will appear, prompting the user to name their print settings. They can choose a name that is easy to remember, such as "Default Settings" or "Office Printer."
6. After naming the print settings, clicking "Save" will store the settings for future use.

From this point forward, whenever the user chooses to print from Google Chrome, they can simply click on the "More settings" dropdown menu and select their saved print settings from the list. This eliminates the need to manually adjust the print settings each time they print, streamlining the printing process and enhancing the overall user experience.

In conclusion, Google Chrome's Sticky print settings feature provides a convenient way for users to save and quickly access their preferred print settings. By allowing users to set default print settings and save them for future use, Google Chrome aims to simplify the printing experience and make it more user-friendly. This feature is a welcome addition for anyone who regularly prints from their web browser and values efficiency and convenience.
